Why Project Based Learning?

I am forever grateful for Holly and her methods. I had strung together a few weeks without drinking and I was looking for something to help me get through the holidays — what I received was so much more. Hip Sobriety helped me change my life, and it can help you change yours, too.

I discovered Holly and Hip Sobriety when I was deeply involved in the 12 step community. I see with a fresh lens and my scope on life has changed. I showed up to Hip Sobriety School empty and willing to try anything and everything.

I completed the circle exercise from the above mentioned article that hung-over morning and cried as I committed to losing my best friend, alcohol. That it was a beautiful choice.

But then I return to my breath Old me would be grateful for a few sober days.
